About Alleva
Years ago we recognized a need for better technology in the behavioral health space. With proven backgrounds in health software, we got to work developing a new product that would push the boundaries of technology to simplify and streamline the daily tasks of medical professionals. We understood that the less time they spent inputting notes and managing medications the more time they could spend with patients. From there, we were inspired to put similar technology right into the hands of the patients themselves, providing accessible tools and resources to help nurture recovery.
Today, Alleva is comprised of a talented group of individuals dedicated to providing world-class software to the behavioral health industry that offers premium care to those who need it. Our team includes licensed therapists, industry professionals and experienced software developers who are passionate about helping the helpers. Get to know us below.


Founding Story
Prior to starting Alleva, CEO Steven McCall worked at a company nearby a treatment facility. In a short period of time, he observed how quickly the facility grew. It was during this time his close friend’s son overdosed. Being called to the hospital for emotional support brought into focus the impact and all too often, tragedy, of addiction and mental health. This experience led Steven to consider how he could use his background and skillset to support individuals and families facing addiction and mental health concerns.
Today, our team is composed of many individuals whose lives have been influenced by the trials of addiction and the challenges of mental illness. Today they get to use those experiences for good, helping programs all over the country serve the most vulnerable among us.
